It took some time alone,
Before we could not deny,
That we belonged together,
Like earth belongs to sky.

Thick and thin we have journeyed,
But somehow, weathered all.
For there is no force in nature,
Greater than loves call.

And when our lives are over,
And all is said and done,
We cannot deny the pleasure,
Gained in this lifes last run.
